What Happens to Your Inventory at a 3PL, From Receiving to Label

Inventory sent to ShipNinja is checked in the day it arrives, counted unit by unit, and logged before it can sell. It then sits on a climate-controlled shelf until an order pulls it, and it leaves on the marketplace's label or yours.

Every seller ships to their own receiving address

Each seller gets a dedicated ShipNinja receiving address. Inventory can come from a supplier, a retail pickup, a wholesale drop, or your garage.

Cataloged items can ship without a tracking number. We add them to your inventory when they arrive. Receiving is $0.50 per unit.

Check-in is same day, with an exterior QC on every unit

Every unit gets an exterior QC on the day it arrives. We verify the count against what you sent and inspect each item's condition.

Detailed QC is $1 per unit, and you select it when you create the inbound shipment. We open each item and inspect it, flagging manufacturer defects, damage, and returned goods. If you want photos of a unit, a picture request is $2 per unit.

Storage is climate-controlled and tracked by unit

Inventory is stored in a climate-controlled, access-restricted warehouse protected by ADT. Every unit is tracked from receipt to shipment, with chain-of-custody handling for high-value goods.

Storage is free for the first stretch, then billed per unit per day:

Checked-in units can be cross-listed across marketplaces

A checked-in unit can be cross-listed to StockX, Alias, eBay, and the ShipNinja B2B Marketplace from the dashboard. Consigned stock can be imported into the same pool. When the unit sells on one marketplace, it delists from the rest, which is how cross-listing stops overselling.

You sync your own marketplace accounts. Payouts stay in those accounts, and auto-pricing stays on the listings.

The order ships inside the marketplace's window

When a unit sells, the order imports and we pick, pack, and ship it inside that marketplace's shipping window. Marketplace fulfillment is $2.50 per unit. A StockX Direct pair leaves on StockX's label.

A sale from a channel that isn't connected ships as a custom shipment. You upload the label, and we pick that unit the same way.
